Basketball Recap: Inwood Academy Skates Past Loyola with Ease

Inwood Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 78-45 victory over the Loyola Lady Knights. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Inwood Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Askia Hinton, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Hinton is now averaging an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game. Matthew Federo was another key player, going 9-for-18 en route to 22 points and seven boards.

Inwood Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Inwood Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
