Basketball Game Preview: Liberty County Bulldogs vs. Altha Wildcats + How To Watch

The Liberty County Bulldogs will head out to take on the Altha Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Liberty County came up short against Cottondale and fell 55-46. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Liberty County might have lost, but man, Michael Glisson was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Glisson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Lollie, who posted five points along with 11 rebounds and six steals.

Meanwhile, Altha hadn't done well against Poplar Springs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with an 82-73 victory over the Atomics. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Altha now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Liberty County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Liberty County took their win against Altha when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 65-42 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
