Walhalla scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 78-77 to the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the Razorbacks still had to take the loss.

Isaiah Worley had an outrageously good game for Legion Collegiate Academy as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Worley a new career-high in points. Cooper Brzozka was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Walhalla and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they moved to 2-11 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walhalla will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chapman at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Palmetto Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Legion Collegiate Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.
