Alexander waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victor by an 80-55 margin over the Edinburg North Cougars. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Edinburg North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raul Palacios, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points. The game was Palacios' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Osmar Alanis, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points.

Alexander is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
