Softball Recap: Pleasant Grove Comes Up Short

Pleasant Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Salinas Cowboys.

Pleasant Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Halverson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Salinas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will welcome Laguna Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salinas, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hollister at 5:00 p.m.
