Softball Recap: Geneva Eagles vs. Berkshire Badgers

Geneva won the last time they faced Berkshire and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Badgers. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Annabelle Bragg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. In other batting news, Claire Cafaro was incredible, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
