It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Brooks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Jones Eagles 58-55. The victory was nothing new for Brooks as they're now sitting on six straight.
Elijah Curl went supernova for Brooks, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds Curl has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Hayes, who went 7 of 11 en route to 14 points and five steals.
Brooks is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Jones, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-11.
