Baseball Recap: Harford Tech Comes Up Short

Harford Tech fell victim to Century and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cobras have lost by just one run.

Harford Tech got a good showing from Brody Hall, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Harford Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Lane, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Harford Tech has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Century, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Harford Tech will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bel Air at 3:30 p.m. As for Century, they will head out to take on Westminster at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Owls have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
