The Tenoroc Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Weeki Wachee Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Tenoroc can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home last Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of Umatilla. The Titans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Weeki Wachee got the win against Orangewood Christian on Friday by a conclusive 42-16. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Hornets had established a 20 point advantage.
Leelen Wright was a one-man wrecking crew for Weeki Wachee as he rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Wright is now averaging an impressive 128 rushing yards per game. Brock Rosario got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
