Soccer Game Preview: Woodland Park vs. Palmer Ridge + How To Watch

The Woodland Park Panthers will square off against the Palmer Ridge Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Woodland Park challenged Coronado on Monday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Woodland Park have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Palmer Ridge was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Pueblo County could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Woodland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. With that draw, Palmer Ridge's record moves to 4-3-1.

Woodland Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Palmer Ridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
