Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Springfield was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Norton Panthers and fell 74-20. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 806th, while the Panthers are ranked 74th).

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Norton, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Springfield will face off against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norton, they will venture away from home to square off against Ellet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
