Soccer Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Winfield Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fulton of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for Winfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will square off against Hannibal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fulton will need to watch out since Hannibal have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Winfield, they will take on St. Charles West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
