Bishop Eustace Prep was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Daniel Passalacqua did his best to prevent it. Passalacqua tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (four) he has had since back in May of 2024.

Passalacqua and Bishop Eustace Prep will square off against Moorestown at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Passalacqua's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Crusaders' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Passalacqua and the Crusaders surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
