Volleyball Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington entered their match against North Rockland on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Admirals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Admirals of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Arlington started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 28-30, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Arlington lost, don't look at Alyssa Reilly. Despite the final result, she had 26 digs and three assists.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for North Rockland, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2.
