After only two runs in their last match, Central A & M made sure to put some runs up on the board against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond on Thursday. The Raiders blew past the Knights 15-5. Considering the Raiders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Gwyn Hardimon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Hardimon was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lyndi Woods was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Brookelyn Jackson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Central A & M's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

Central A & M does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they will challenge Sullivan at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Redskins will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
