Volleyball Recap: New Washington Has No Trouble Against Medora + How To Watch

New Washington won the last time they faced Medora and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant New Washington was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-10, 25-11.

Kaylee Lawrence paced New Washington's offense, picking up 20 kills. Lawrence got some help from Addy Lathem and her 22 assists. Lathem also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Naomi Olson, racking up nine apiece.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Medora, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, New Washington will challenge Rock Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Medora, they will take on Crothersville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
