Softball Recap: Hatboro-Horsham's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Mt. St. Joseph Academy last Thursday, Hatboro-Horsham came back down to earth. Hatboro-Horsham fell just short of the Abington Galloping Ghosts by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Hatters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Galloping Ghosts apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Madison Karpovich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hatboro-Horsham fell to 3-1. As for Abington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hatboro-Horsham will face off against rival Quakertown at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Abington is set to square off against their familiar foe Upper Dublin at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
