There's no place like home for Elkhorn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wilmot Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Elks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Elkhorn easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16.

Kyrin Lile paced Elkhorn's offense, picking up six kills. Lile got some help from Markie Pedersen and her 11 assists.

Elkhorn's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Wilmot, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

Elkhorn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Waterford on the 18th. As for Wilmot, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Beloit Memorial on the 18th.
