Volleyball Recap: Baldwin Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Baldwin Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Garey Vikings. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Baldwin Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

Karen Moreno paced Baldwin Park's offense, picking up six kills. Moreno got some help from Mya Martinez and her 19 assists. Kimberly Gutierrez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Baldwin Park's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Garey, they moved to 7-12 with that victory, which also ended their eight-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Baldwin Park nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
