Basketball Recap: Chippewa Hills Takes a Loss

Chippewa Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 66-44 to the Tri County Area Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Vikings since February 9, 2021.

Among those leading the charge was Cole Plotts, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 13 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Jarvis Rider also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Chippewa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Tri County Area, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chippewa Hills will take on Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri County Area, they will challenge Central Montcalm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
