Adding to the longest winning streak in I Section II this week, Westview beat Cesar Chavez 36-20. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Knights.

Westview took down the Champions 36-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jalen Johnson ran for 305 yards during the win.

Johnson was a passing and rushing force as Jeff Bowen's team defeated Cesar Chavez.

Johnson was a force in the backfield as the Knights topped Jim Rattay's team.

JT Moore made the biggest impact on defense this week as Valley Vista lost to Millennium. The 6-foot-0 senior recorded 1 fumble.

Walter Freeman put up the best numbers through the air as the Tigers beat the Monsoon. He finished with a total of 3 completions for 48 yards and 1 touchdown. Freeman's favorite target this week was Aaron Diggs, who caught 3 passes for 48 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Valley Vista's Damian Alarcon and Terry Juniel have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Alarcon has thrown for 1,149 yards this season, while Juniel has 35 catches for 664 yards. Westview's Johnson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,059.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Westview takes on second place Valley Vista. The Knights topped the Champions last week, while Josh Sekoch's team fell to Millennium.

One of I Section II's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Monsoon and Westview face off next week.
