Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends St. Croix Central's Winning Streak

After flying high against Bloomer on Friday, St. Croix Central came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior), but the Blackhawks' pitchers proved too tough.

Eli Babler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
