Volleyball Game Preview: Hancock Panthers vs. Northern Garrett Huskies + How To Watch

Hancock hasn't had much luck against Northern Garrett recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Panthers will take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Hancock came up short against Southern Fulton and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 17-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Northern Garrett extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Violet Taylor. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Keyser on Tuesday for which the team can thank Taylor, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Northern Garrett not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Keyser between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northern Garrett, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Hancock might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Northern Garrett in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
