Baseball Recap: Sunbright Comes Up Short

Sunbright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Wartburg Central Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Sunbright's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wartburg Central, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Sunbright will face off against Bledsoe County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wartburg Central, they will square off against Stone Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
