Eustace proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Malakoff Tigers 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Eustace's offense was headlined by Bodie Hudson and Madison Truitt, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Bryleigh Powers and her 20 assists. Hudson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Eustace's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Malakoff, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7.

Eustace has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Grand Saline on the 19th. As for Malakoff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Winona on the 19th.
