 Minerva and Alliance are an even 3-3-3 against one another  since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Minerva Lions will head out on the road to  take on  the Alliance Aviators at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Given that  the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.
 Minerva is is headed into Tuesday's   matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Monday. They lost  10-3 to New Philadelphia.
 Minerva saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Delaney Sell, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  Alliance unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost  11-0 to West Branch. Having soared to a lofty 20  runs in the game before, Alliance's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Minerva's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
 Minerva beat Alliance 7-3  in their previous matchup  on April 15th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Alliance's  Lilly White, who   struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and four unearned) runs off   six  hits (and not a single walk). Now that she's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Minerva still be able to contain  White? There's only one way to find out.
