Softball Recap: Midway Extends Winning Streak to Four

Midway never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They skirted past the Richlands Wildcats 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Midway saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mollie Bass, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Midway pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Richlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Midway will face off against South View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Richlands, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Richlands Wildcats duke it out with East Duplin Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Duplin will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
