Baseball Recap: Point Loma Pointers vs. Sherwood Bowmen

Point Loma won against Poway last Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Point Loma Pointers walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Sherwood Bowmen. Winning may never get old, but Point Loma sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Point Loma got a great performance from Liam Cannavino as he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Brayden Taylor relieved him and did a solid job, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kai Dickinson, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. William Sanford was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
