Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Coatesville's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

It's playoff time, and Coatesville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 63-44 victory over the William Allen Canaries on Saturday. Given the Red Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Canaries are ranked 124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coatesville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. William Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Coming up, Coatesville will face off against Cumberland Valley on Wednesday. Cumberland Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.2 points per game this season. William Allen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
