Basketball Recap: St. Maries Comes Up Short

St. Maries lost against Sandpoint back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Maries Lumberjacks took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandpoint Bulldogs.

St. Maries' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sandpoint, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

St. Maries has already played their next contest (against Kootenai), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sandpoint will take on Moscow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sandpoint is facing Moscow at the right time seeing as Moscow is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
