Volleyball Recap: East Noble Takes a Loss

East Noble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Norwell.

East Noble took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Elijah Delashmidt paced East Noble's offense, picking up eight kills. Delashmidt got some help from Braylon Shire and his 15 assists. Delashmidt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

East Noble's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Norwell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coincidentally, East Noble and Norwell will both be playing Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger the next time they take the court. Norwell will head out to face Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while East Noble will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
