Football Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Anderson lost against Yreka back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cubs were just a hair shy of victory and fell 15-14 to the Miners. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Anderson took the loss, they still got scores from Michael Manley and Connor Bushey.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Anderson will venture away from home to face off against University Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cubs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Yreka, they are taking a road trip to challenge Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Miners will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
