Soccer Game Preview: Tarboro vs. Ayden - Grifton

The Tarboro Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Ayden - Grifton Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tarboro is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Tarboro came up short against Beddingfield and fell 3-1.

The Vikings' goal came courtesy of Brandon Garcia-Rojas, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Ayden - Grifton fell victim to Greene Central and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Ayden - Grifton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 517th, while Greene Central are ranked 156th).

Ayden - Grifton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Tarboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2.
