Softball Recap: Fort Bend Marshall Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Marshall fell victim to Lamar Consolidated and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 17-0. The Buffalos' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Fort Bend Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lamar Consolidated, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Coincidentally, Fort Bend Marshall and Lamar Consolidated will both be playing Fort Bend Kempner the next time they take the field. The Buffalos will host the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
