Basketball Recap: McLeod Takes a Loss

McLeod was the 50-22 winner over Harleton when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The McLeod Longhorns fell to the Harleton Wildcats 26-22. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McLeod's defeat dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Harleton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-19.

McLeod is taking a road trip to face off against Big Sandy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Big Sandy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Harleton, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Harleton Wildcats face off against the Union Grove Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
