Softball Recap: Granite Bay Takes a Loss

Granite Bay lost against Oak Ridge back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Grizzlies have suffered since February 27th.

Granite Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Oak Ridge, their victory was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granite Bay will take on Davis Sr. at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Oak Ridge, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Del Oro at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
