Volleyball Recap: Reese Takes a Loss

Reese lost against Croswell-Lexington back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Pioneers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Reese was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.

Croswell-Lexington was led to victory by Emma Adams and Rozlynn Cayce. Adams had nine digs and one assist, while Cayce had two aces.

Reese's loss dropped their record down to 12-10-2. As for Croswell-Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-14.

Looking ahead, Reese will challenge Vassar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Dryden on the 2nd.
