Mitchell Made His Presence Known in Leander's 44-35 Win
Starting off the list is Leander's Logan Mitchell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mitchell rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns.
Leander now has a winning record of 3-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions challenges Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Keaton Gordon Leads Glenn over Leander
Glenn came up short on Friday despite Keaton Gordon delivering his best game to date. Gordon rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Glenn is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. Gordon and Glenn will host Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jett Walker Turns in Another Game with at Least 108 Rushing Yards
On Friday, Georgetown got the W thanks in part to Jett Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.
Georgetown pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Walker and Georgetown will challenge Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Underclassman David Cooper Comes Up Big Against Rouse
It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as David Cooper came into the game on a mission. He was unstoppable, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 117 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.
Cedar Park now has a winning record of 3-2. Cooper and Cedar Park will head out on the road to take on East View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Morgan Came Up Big in Rouse's 35-25 Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is London Morgan of Rouse. Morgan threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.5% of his passes.
Rouse dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Morgan and Rouse will be playing in front of their home fans against Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
