Football Recap: Monroe Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

Monroe's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bainbridge Bearcats as they made off with a 33-10 victory. The Golden Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Monroe's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Bainbridge, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will take on Peach County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Tornadoes will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Bainbridge, they will challenge Dougherty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
