Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Fillmore

Fillmore barely beat Arkport Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Bluejays on Wednesday. 11 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory was the third in a row for Fillmore, bringing their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Arkport Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fillmore is set to challenge their familiar foe Genesee Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Arkport Central will take on rival Avoca Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
