Basketball Recap: Upperman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oakland on Tuesday, Upperman came back down to earth. The Bees fell just short of the Lebanon Blue Devils by a score of 38-36 on Friday. The game marked the Bees' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Upperman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lebanon, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Upperman will head out to challenge King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bees will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Lebanon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Beech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
