It was a good run, but Cobre unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hot Springs Tigers by a score of 6-5. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Aaron Harrington was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Emilioh Rivera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Cobre's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Hot Springs, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8-1.

While Cobre had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
