             South Knox is 7-0 against Bloomfield since September of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Saturday. The South Knox Spartans are taking a road trip to  challenge the Bloomfield Cardinals  at 12:45  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Knox has five straight  victories, Bloomfield has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 South Knox's defense heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Shoals with a sharp  4-0 win. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by four  goals or more this season.
 Meanwhile, Bloomfield came up short against  Vincennes Lincoln on Wednesday, falling  7-2. One reason for the loss might be the Cardinals' aggressive play style:  Bo Busenburg and  Lance Workman were both handed yellow cards.
 Workman wasn't going to let Vincennes Lincoln walk away unscathed as he scored both of Bloomfield's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.
 South Knox pushed their record up to 8-1 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Bloomfield, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Everything went South Knox's way against Bloomfield in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023 as South Knox made off with  a  7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Knox since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
