Soccer Recap: Dock Mennonite Comes Up Short

Dock Mennonite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Delaware County Christian Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Delaware County Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Dock Mennonite's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Delaware County Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Looking ahead, Dock Mennonite will square off against Faith Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Delaware County Christian, they will challenge Chichester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delaware County Christian will be up against Chichester's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.13 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
