Volleyball Recap: Providence Grove Extends Winning Streak to Three

Providence Grove had won two straight games and Cheyenne Collins did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Patriots blew past the Thomasville Bulldogs 3-0 thanks in part to Collins, who had 15 assists and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Providence Grove took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-2, 25-15.

Providence Grove's record is now 12-10. As for Thomasville, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Providence Grove beat the Bulldogs by a score of 3-0 on Monday.
