Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Christian Crusaders vs. Prescott Tigers

The Riverside Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the Prescott Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside Christian will be strutting in after a win while Prescott will be coming in after a defeat.

Riverside Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 45-17 victory over Touchet. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 38-22 bruising from Liberty Christian.

Riverside Christian's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-8. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Riverside Christian strolled past Prescott when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 37-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverside Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
