Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against Wakefield Memorial back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Minutemen lost 9-1 to the Warriors. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Wakefield Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will face off against Westport at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wakefield Memorial, they will challenge Melrose at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
