Volleyball Recap: Scotts Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Scotts Valley came into Monday's contest having lost 13 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars 3-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since February 24th.

Scotts Valley took San Lorenzo Valley into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-14, 22-25, 15-10.

Scotts Valley's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 5-20. As for San Lorenzo Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.
