Holton won the last time they faced Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cyclones. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Holton took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.

Holton found their leader in sophomore Faith Olberding, who had 12 digs and ten assists.

Holton's victory bumped their record up to 31-9. As for Riverside [Wathena/Elwood], they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-18-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Holton and Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will both be playing Oskaloosa the next time they take the court. The Cyclones will host the Bears on Monday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
