Softball Recap: Health Profession Triumphs

After losing to Roosevelt Educational the last time they met, Health Profession decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Health Profession walked away with a 12-7 victory over Roosevelt Educational on Thursday.

Health Profession now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Roosevelt Educational, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Health Profession and Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Health Profession are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Roosevelt Educational, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seward Park at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.67 runs per game on average), something the Roughriders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
